Nitrogen Fertiliser use in grazed pasture-based systems in New Zealand
Nitrogen fertiliser use in pastoral systems has increased considerably since the 1980s with significant economic benefits for New Zealand. This review brings together and summarises some of the vast amount of research on grazed pasture systems undertaken in New Zealand over the past 50 years. It provides an overview of research, raises the awareness of key findings, and importantly, provides a pathway for decision makers to find and access the research on nitrogen fertiliser use and management.
